LITTLE HEALING HEARTS

I've been very lucky to illustrate two books for Little Healing Hearts. This was a very special project since these stories help children to navigate difficult situations in a more productive way.
Sleep Tight Worry Doll tells the story of a doll that helps children when they have fears and worries at bedtime. They can entrust their dark thoughts to the doll, and it will keep them so they can have a peaceful night's sleep.
Brightest Star is the story of a little boy who loses his grandfather and, together with his father, learns to bear this great sadness and grow through his grief.
Regarding the aesthetics and the climate of the illustrations, I sought to create cute characters that convey warmth and harmony. For this reason I chose hand drawn illustrations for the technique completing the composition and color of each page digitally.
